GB does have a limit of how much she will deal with before she just Blasts your soul into dust.  Even Sans didn't know she could literally melt a soul.

That’s not Hyperbeam. Its actually a unique move that’s a combination of the Gaster Blaster’s shot and Hyperbeam. Even though it takes up one of her moves in a normal battle she would rather struggle than use this attack.
